The Ensemble's goal is to preserve and develop the folk music, vocal and dance art from all folklore regions in Bulgaria. To keep the folklore heritage, lifestyle, culture and self-confidence of Bulgarian nation. To increase the patriotism and Bulgarian national spirit in the coming generations.
Trakia aims at becoming a contractor of cultural communication through live concerts and presentations before electronic media - national and local, satisfying the spiritual needs of a wide range of social groups inhabiting remote parts of the country.
The Ensemble seeks to enrich and cohere with European cultural values with its originality and uniqueness as part of European civilization.
